"Kalahari Safari was an amazing Father/Son trip!
The ranch is beautiful with an abundant amount of African wildlife. Our accommodations were first class from the luxurious and well-appointed house to the over the top service received from the staff. The food is in a completely different category – insanely delicious…organic ingredients and lots of game! Daily afternoon plunges in the pool were a refreshing treat in the middle of a hot afternoon.
Our hunts were filled with adventure and the “thrill of the chase” with the reward of numerous trophies between both of us. The near dusk unexpected Kudu showing resulted in a great kill by my son as well as my multi-hour morning hunt for a Zebra, most certainly stand out. Janneman’ s experience as a professional hunter was evident during every hunt! All of that said, the most cherished memories will be the quality time spent between a father & son talking about life, what truly matters, and the adventure that awaits him as he heads out to college and beyond…..

"Kalahari Safari was the most amazing adventure we have ever been on! The hunting and respect for the animals was premier. We were expecting a nice hunt. What we found was so much more! The ranch is beautiful with breathtaking views in every direction. The lodge is 5 star. Every meal was over the top in flavor and presentation, only to be matched by the feeling of being with good friends around the table.
Each day we woke with excitement about what we would see on our treks. We looked forward to each meal with anticipation to see what gourmet extravaganza Aldalene had prepared for us. This is truly a place you could go as a food destination alone! The ladies that came for our Spa day were amazing as well. We had wonderful massages and felt revived after many miles of walking on our days there. Janneman and Aldalene, along with every person on the staff, treated us with great kindness and warmth.
We showed up as strangers and felt we left as good friends! We are already looking at dates to book again and bring more friends to experience this piece of Africa that is so exceptionally welcoming at Kalahari Safari!"

"I am delighted to tell you about Jannaman and Aldalene. My wife, Suzanne, and I spent a great week with them the year before last. It was my third trip to Africa and it remains the overall best. I am going hunting with them again in April - this time with three friends.I was introduced to Kalahari by a good friend who took his wife, along with another husband and wife couple. I have been lucky and have hunted several times overseas - South Africa, Namibia with Kalahari, Australia, New Zealand and Spain. The Brands gave us the most memorable and enjoyable of all those trips - no exceptions.The hunting will be great, the food will be fabulous, the scenery breathtaking, and you and your wife will bring back a bucket load of good memories. Interestingly Kalahari is also a very good choice financially. Of all my trips, Kalahari is the one where I didn’t suffer a little “sticker shock” when the trip was over. We travel a bunch, not just to hunt, and I do and have always done a lot of homework before committing. Kalahari’s prices are far better than average - and - the animals you take will be exceptional. (he has some of the best Gemsbok you will ever see - and he has the best Kudu prices in Africa!)
Suzanne and I felt like and were treated like family. You will take some animals of which you will be very proud, both in quality and from the conduct of the hunt. You and your wife will be pampered and you will love it.
You cannot and will not find a better family to hunt with - period.
